Burke Supply Company, Inc. started on May 1, 1950 in a converted horse barn, complete with stalls. Our staff at that time consisted of four employees, three of them family. The financing for the start up came from a family friend. He also had a family business and therefore knew what a dedicated family could do.

We grew very slowly at first, staking our success on our reputation. All the while, we kept the vision of what we were and what we must do to keep in step with the ever-changing distribution business.

We now occupy the best distribution facility in the metro New York area and employ more than 180 people, delivering product to over 9,000 customers from our 120,000 sq/ft facility on our fleet of 40 trucks and tractor-trailers.
